Our story.
GreenEagle started in a Seattle garage in 2019 with a single Tesla Model S and a founder who'd spent a decade driving for traditional black-car services. Marcus Holloway had two complaints about the industry he loved: the cars were dirty, and the business model was dirtier. Chauffeurs were underpaid, customers were overcharged, and the planet was an afterthought.
The first GreenEagle ride was a 4:30am airport pickup in a Tesla Model S 90D. The passenger — a cardiac surgeon who became our first corporate account — tipped 40% and asked if we had more cars. We didn't, but we said yes anyway, and bought a second Tesla the next week.
By 2021, we had 12 EVs in Seattle and a waitlist of corporate accounts. By 2023, we opened our Phoenix operation. Today we operate 9 luxury vehicles — EVs, hybrids and efficient gasoline workhorses like the Chevrolet Suburban and Ford Transit — across two cities, with a chauffeur team of 47 and a per-ride carbon-offset program that has planted over 8,400 trees.
